Mentorship online 2021: GPS / EPTS performance analysis and decision-making process

With a total of 24 participants, in this new edition of our online Mentorship we have once again enjoyed with our assistants and mentors in-depth discussions about the decision-making process and performance analysis based on data obtained through different technologies and media (GPS, EPTS, video tracking, Wellness, RPE, etc).

As a novelty, in this edition they have participated as mentors both previous and current collaborators of Smart Performance (David Pajón, Edu Caro, Norbert Callau, Hector Ortega and Adrián Aguirre), and we have introduced content related to the different phases of the decision-making process, including the structuring of the databases, the use and programming in RStudio, and the possibilities it offers us, the visualization of the most relevant data for decision-making (including the daily monitoring cycle and the specific algorithms for its implementation) , and different innovative practical applications based on studies carried out by our research group and collaborators, and based on day-to-day practical experience in different professional teams.

To conclude, we made a new proposal for the first time in the form of a “challenge”: on a voluntary basis, the attendees were able to present during 10′-15 ‘any type of content related to the subject covered in the Mentorship based on their own data or with that we provide them anonymously in order to apply and practice the knowledge acquired.

Thanks to the feedback received from all the attendees (with diverse practical experience, from grassroots football teams to professional teams from different countries), without any doubt this new edition of our Mentorship has maintained the highest level of acceptance and has once again exceeded the expectations of assistants and mentors: THANK YOU ALL !!!

Finally, just add that we are already working on the next event, with the idea of introducing new content that will surely not leave us indifferent …
